4th of July

Lucy liked the fire trucks and animals in the parade, and especially the clown with bubbles. She did not quite get the hang of collecting candy. She had fun throwing it back. We also

had a great time at the I-Cubs baseball game and bridges of Madison county with our family from Dallas.

Lucy was in character for cousin Christopher's pirate birthday party. Arrrrgghhhh!!!

My 1st Birthday Party!

Lucy really liked the icing on her cupcake, but took her time with the cake part. She must have liked it because now whenever she sees a cupcake she goes crazy. We had lots of fun and were happy to have our family and friends celebrate with us!

Getting into everything...

Lucy was very adventurous today. Not only did she perform the bottom 2 stunts, she also closed herself in the bathroom (with Mommy outside the door) and opened a drawer in front of the door, so it could not be opened wider than the width of a finger. Not too fear, Mama MacGuyver fashioned a drawer closing device from a wire hanger and all was well (after a few tears).
